The origin of what today is Grupo CFJ S.L., dates back to the early 60's, when Felipe Jordán Ramírez established himself as a building contractor, creating a modest family business, located in his own home in Calabria Street in Barcelona.
Very soon and with the experience of numerous buildings throughout Catalonia, Felipe Jordán decided to focus his activities in Castelldefels and neighboring municipalities, places considered, at that time, as a summer season with precarious facilities, limited to an itinerant seasonality.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​Sensing the potential development of the area towards a stable second home center, with strictly family funds, and in the middle of the seventies crisis, he began his promotional activity, in which the sensitivity for design, quality and comfort throughout the year, they replace the conception of the typical hive mini-apartment.

More than forty developments distributed throughout Castelldefels, both in the beach and in the mountains, testify to the success of that innovative change over the traditional construction strategy.
The history
Starting in 1987, the dynamism of the company was reinforced with the gradual incorporation of the sons of Felipe Jordán into the family business. Joan Felip, Oriol and Maria Teresa, supported by the reference brand that the founder had consolidated in the region, provided a complementary reorientation to the personality of the housing concept: meticulous selection of the location of the plots, maximum quality in materials and finishes, comfort and habitability, refined design and use of the most modern construction techniques.​

In 1992, the family business was established as a Limited Company, to undertake with greater solidity its constant adaptation and diversification of objectives, always adjusted to the evolution of the natural territory in which the activity was focused.
of the Group: promotion and construction of flats and high-standing permanent homes, both for sale or for rent, additional facets through which the company aspires to complete and expand the product offer to customers.

​Currently, this facet of promotion is combined with carrying out works and rehabilitations of any size and, to a large extent, with a department dedicated to architecture, interior design, lighting of both residential and commercial spaces and, in general, with everything that related to design.
